PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Ethnotek wanted a product video for their Premji Backpack to update the one on their website/amazon listing and use as an Instagram/Facebook advertisement to increase sales.

CHALLENGE:

Ethnotek came to us to make a quick-paced and fun video that would get people to stop scrolling on Instagram and feature their backpacks in a bunch of cool places on cool people. All while maintaining the inspiring traveler energy that they’ve been building their brand around for the past few years.

SOLUTION:

We worked closely with Jake the owner to create a unique script based on exciting editing techniques that we researched in other impactful ads for other companies in their situation. After we locked down the script and finalized the budget, we cast Taylor, a local Albuquerque creative that we loved! We shot the video with them in just under 7 hours! With the variety of locations and available light a main concern for this shoot, we meticulously planned the shot list for the day with timestamps to ensure we’d get everything we needed to cut the video in the allotted time.

RESULTS:

Currently has a combined 100,000+ views on IG and Facebook. One of the things we loved about the Ethnotek videos they made prior to us was the down-to-earth and fun-loving tone they boasted. We’re excited that we were able to bring that to our video, while also updating the quality of the video itself. Initial impressions from the owner were that it was “epic” and “amazing”.
